Now that it\u2019s official and the celebrations are done with, I\u2019m mourning the fact that I\u2019m no longer a \u201cteen\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s funny how in a matter of 6-7 years, you go from PG13 to A rated, in movies as well as in life. Being pubescent wasn\u2019t amazing but it will be well missed. That feeling of looking at yourself changing so drastically and so quickly, is scary yet exhilarating. You can\u2019t wait for the rest of your life but you also don\u2019t want to leave the past 2 decades only to remember them when you\u2019re 80.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Turning 20 has made me look,<em>&nbsp;fondly,&nbsp;<\/em>back at the journey that was puberty. It was a quest for knowledge, popularity, friendship and love\u2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>From holding hands to heartbreak. &nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Scoring top marks to just passing.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Having a BFF and then watching them drift.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Falling flat, on your face or butt, in front of everyone (figuratively and literally).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Swearing that you\u2019ll never smoke<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Saying you\u2019ll drink in moderation<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Hunt for a decent partner<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>And finally get fit.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Being carefree, wild, daring, edgy, emotional, cranky, spoilt, temperamental, disgustingly messy, disorganised, colourful and alive.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Living like there\u2019s no tomorrow and not bothering to look back.
