The Centre contributed to a closed-door roundtable discussion on ‘Online Content Regulation and Child Safety’, hosted by Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas. Prof. Sidharth Chauhan, Prof. Krishna Deo Singh Chauhan, and Prof. Paavni Jain participated as speakers, bringing the Centre’s research perspective to bear on the evolving landscape of digital governance. The panel examined critical issues surrounding the proliferation of AI-generated content and the implications of the new IT Amendment Rules on synthetically generated data and takedown policies. The discussion was further enriched by participation from leading think tanks, legal experts, academicians, and private sector representatives, including Google, who shared perspectives on their technological safeguards and ongoing developments in content moderation. The roundtable was organised by the Public Policy team at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas. The Centre remains committed to fostering informed, multi-stakeholder dialogues at the intersection of law, technology, and public policy.
