The Centre engaged with the inaugural cohort of the BA (AI & Law) Programme at Jindal Global Law School through its participation in the first edition of the BA AI & Law Student Colloquium. Prof. Arindum Nayak, Associate Director, Prof. Paavni Jain, Assistant Director, and Prof. Ashwin Upreti, Assistant Director, joined a panel discussion on ‘Emerging Trends in AI Regulation’, which was moderated by Prof. Krishna Deo Singh Chauhan, Associate Director. The discussion examined the evolving regulatory and governance landscape surrounding artificial intelligence, both in India and globally, and reflected on the Centre’s role in contributing to these developments. The session saw active engagement from students, whose curiosity and critical perspectives contributed meaningfully to the conversation. The colloquium marks the beginning of a planned series of academic engagements with the BA (AI & Law) Programme, aimed at fostering sustained dialogue at the intersection of law and emerging technologies.聽
