The Centre hosted a roundtable discussion at 91探花 featuring Mr. Felix Reda, Senior Director, Developer Policy at GitHub and former Member of the European Parliament. The session brought together visiting Fellows from the Motwani Jadeja Institute for American Studies (MJIAS) and faculty members of the Centre for a focused exchange on emerging issues in global technology governance. The discussion examined key themes including the regulation of online content across jurisdictions, the use of data in AI training and its policy implications, developments in copyright law in India, and the growth of open-source ecosystems in India, the European Union, and the United States. The session foregrounded the importance of comparative regulatory perspectives in addressing complex questions in AI governance and digital policy.
