
The Centre, in collaboration with UNESCO, the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, the B-Tech Project, Microsoft, and NASSCOM, organised a high-level panel discussion at the AI Summit. The session opened with remarks by H.E. Mr. Rein Tammsaar, Permanent Representative of Estonia to the United Nations, and was moderated by Ms. Peggy Hicks of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. Distinguished panellists included representatives from Google, Microsoft, LG AI Research, NASSCOM, and the World Benchmarking Alliance, who engaged on responsible AI practices, scalable business models, and the role of global technical standards in supporting trustworthy AI development and deployment. The session concluded with closing remarks by Ms. Paridhi Adani, Partner at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, who underscored the imperative of moving from aspirational principles towards concrete action
