Two of the four winning student teams were invited to present their projects virtually at a Codex meeting, hosted by the Stanford Center for Legal Informatics and led by Dr. Roland Vogl. The presentations featured innovative legal technology solutions developed by the participating teams. Mr. Ramkumaar Madhavan presented the Mediation Simulator, a platform designed to support law students and young professionals in training for mediation proceedings through voice-based AI agents, structured scenarios, and feedback mechanisms. The team comprising Ms. Arya Sreeram, Ms. Sania Bafna, and Ms. Rhea Agnihotri presented Justice Lens, a platform focused on real-time, legally accurate multilingual translation, combined with deepfake detection and identity verification to support secure and reliable virtual court processes. The participation of these teams at an international academic platform reflects the growing relevance of student-led innovation in legal technology and the Centre’s emphasis on developing practical, technology-enabled solutions in the domain.
