The roundtable examined India&#8217;s institutional, technical, and legal preparedness for the techno-legal regulation of AI, bringing together policymakers, technologists, academics, and practitioners. Prof. Bhandari contributed to the discussion by highlighting India&#8217;s urgent need for a shared, operational taxonomy for AI systems and risks \u2013 a foundation without which coherent regulation becomes difficult to design and implement.
