His module focused on &#8216;Emerging Technologies and Related Issues: Biometric Data, Surveillance Tech, and Human Rights&#8217;, with an emphasis on translating fast-evolving technologies into implementable governance choices that protect innovation while safeguarding constitutional and human rights values. Prof. Naren&#8217;s module covered AI concepts and the emerging regulatory landscape; AI and ethical considerations including fairness, accountability, transparency, and risk governance; fintech lending and blockchain in India; and the impact of emerging technologies on data protection, with particular attention to consent, purpose limitation, security safeguards, and institutional oversight.
