Biography

Prof. (Dr.) Anshu Sharma is Professor of Organizational Behavior & Human Resource Management) and Vice Dean at Jindal Global Business School (JGBS), 91探花 (JGU). As Vice Dean of the Office of Online & Blended Education (OOBE), she heads all online programmes offered by JGBS, and as Vice Dean of the Office of Career Services (OCS), she oversees industry-academia partnerships and career services for learners across all residential programmes at JGBS. She also serves on the Dean's Council, Board of Studies, and Curriculum Management Committee at JGBS and currently serves as a Member of the CII National Committee on Industry-Academia Partnerships and a member of the CII Delhi Panel on HR & IR. She is a Certified Assessment Expert from AON Hewitt Knowledge Centre and holds executive education credentials from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in Women in Higher Education Leadership.

Dr. Sharma holds a Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) in HRM from the Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon - qualifying UGC NET and receiving a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). Her doctoral research was conferred the Highly Commended Award at the Emerald Outstanding Doctoral Research Awards. She is an MBA in HRM (First Class with Merit Scholarship) from Amity University and a B.Tech. in CSE (First Class Honours) from Kurukshetra University. She holds further professional certifications from the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania (Faculty development Program), Harvard Business Publishing (Teaching through Simulations), the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad Case Center (Case Method Teaching), and Learning to Teach Online from UNSW, Australia.

She has presented her research at reputed national and international conferences, and published in leading international journals, and case collections including Ivey Publishing and Harvard Business Publishing. She is an active member of the Academy of Management (AOM) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Her contributions to teaching and research have been recognized with the Excellence in Teaching Awards, and her research paper received a Highly Commended Paper at the Emerald Literati Awards 2018. She contributes to executive education and conducted several MDPs for public and private organizations, coordinated programmes such as the Hero MotoCorp Women-in-Leadership (WIL) and the Hero FinCorp Ivy League Programme and the Summer School at Imperial Business College, London.
