Biography

Dr. Souvik Singha is a marketing scholar with a PhD from the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode. His research lies at the intersection of marketing, consumer behavior, and artificial intelligence, with a particular focus on AI–human service systems, algorithmic decision-making, and consumer responses to emerging technologies. He has published in the Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services and has several papers under review in leading journals, alongside conference presentations at international forums such as AMA and EMAC. In addition to his research, he has developed and assisted courses in areas such as marketing research, product management, neural networks for managers, and AI infrastructure and operations for managers. His teaching approach combines conceptual clarity with practical, application-oriented learning. Before entering academia, he gained industry experience as a Management Trainee at Nainital Bank, where he worked on credit appraisal, branch operations, and customer handling.
