Biography

Dr. Angel Selvaraj is an educator and clinician with over a decade of experience in higher education and the field of rehabilitation. She has a strong academic background and was awarded Gold Medals for academic excellence in both her undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Her professional work is driven by a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities. She holds a Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Science, with her doctoral research focusing on enhancing social skills in children with autism. Dr. Selvaraj has also cleared the TNSET in Psychology and UGC-NET in Education, demonstrating her academic and professional excellence. 

Her teaching career spans roles at prestigious institutions, including her current position where she handles courses in Child Psychology and Psychosocial Rehabilitation. She has led significant projects, such as the Ministry of Youth Affairs-funded initiative on "Training Young Women Talents in Innovation and Entrepreneurship." 

Driven by a passion for community engagement, Dr. Selvaraj regularly contributes as a resource person for training programs and outreach initiatives, continuing her mission to support and empower individuals with disabilities.
