B.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence & Finance (Online)

Artificial intelligence is changing how financial information is analysed, decisions are made and services are delivered. The B.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence and Finance is designed for this intersection, combining a foundation in finance and business with progressive study of data, analytics and AI. Alongside economics, accounting, corporate finance, financial markets, and quantitative methods, the pathway develops capability in analytics and artificial intelligence, machine learning, database management for finance, agentic AI, neural networks, and deep learning, automation, cybersecurity and privacy. The program therefore connects financial reasoning with the computational tools increasingly used across finance and business.

The program is designed for learners seeking an undergraduate pathway at the interface of finance, analytics and artificial intelligence. It is delivered fully online over three years in twelve thirteen-week terms. Learners move from common foundations in business, finance, statistics and digital technologies to specialised AI and data courses, while also studying investment, portfolio management, risk, financial services, ethics and advanced core subjects. The Programme also include a 12-credit applied engagement with multiple options, such as an internship, certification, or a faculty-supervised research project. Graduates are prepared for analytical and technology-enabled roles across finance, fintech, financial services, automation, and related business functions, as well as for further study in finance, analytics, AI, and allied fields.

On completing the program, graduates will be able to:

  • Analyse economic, financial and business information and use quantitative and statistical methods to support evidence-based decisions.
  • Apply programming, data visualisation, databases, analytics and artificial intelligence methods to finance and business problems.
  • Evaluate financial markets, investment portfolios and risk using appropriate financial, quantitative and data-driven approaches.
  • Assess the use and implications of AI and digital technologies from cybersecurity, data privacy, legal, ethical, sustainability, and societal perspectives.
  • Communicate data-driven financial and business analysis, judgements and recommendations clearly and professionally to diverse audiences.
