Entrepreneurship increasingly requires more than a good idea: founders and organisations must understand finance, customers, technology, innovation and the conditions required to grow responsibly. The B.Sc. in Finance and Entrepreneurship is designed to bring these elements together. It combines core study in economics, accounting, corporate finance, financial markets, quantitative methods and digital technologies with pathway courses in social entrepreneurship, MSME and family-business growth, intrapreneurship, innovation and product development, new-venture strategy, startup incubation, digital marketing and technology commercialisation. This creates a program in which entrepreneurial thinking is grounded in financial and analytical discipline.
The program is designed for learners who want to build, grow or support entrepreneurial and innovation-led ventures while developing a strong foundation in finance and business. It is delivered fully online over three years in twelve thirteen-week terms. Learners progress from common business, financial and quantitative foundations to specialised study of opportunity development, venture strategy, innovation, scaling, digital entrepreneurship and marketing, alongside investment, risk, financial services, electives and advanced core courses. The Programme also include a 12-credit applied engagement with multiple options, such as an internship, certification, or a faculty-supervised research project. Graduates are prepared for entry-level roles in entrepreneurship, venture development, innovation, business development, family business, and MSME contexts and related finance and marketing functions, as well as for further study.
On completing the program, graduates will be able to:
