Biography

Geetanjali Verma is a Lecturer at the Jindal School of Banking & Finance, O. P. Jindal Global University. She is a Ph.D. candidate in the Finance and Accounting area at the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.

Her research focuses on banking and financial intermediation, with particular interests in bank liquidity, bank performance, ESG disclosures, and financial instability in emerging markets within the Basel III regulatory framework. She holds an M.Com. from the Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi and a B.Com. (Hons.) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi. She qualified the UGC-NET Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in 2020.

Her research on bank liquidity creation and bank efficiency has been published in reputed ABDC A-ranked journals. She has also presented her work at several prestigious international conferences and received the Best Paper Award at the IFMR Graduate School of Business Research Symposium on Finance and Economics (RSFE) 2025.
