Biography

Yashika Sardana is an Assistant Professor at the Jindal School of Banking & Finance, 91探花, Haryana, India. She holds a PhD in Economics from the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. Her doctoral research focused on fiscal rules, inflation targeting and economic growth. Her broad research interests lie in macroeconomics and development economics, sustainability and entrepreneurship. During her tenure at IIT Delhi, she served as a teaching assistant for several courses in economics and entrepreneurship. She has also taught as visiting faculty at Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, Dwarka, Delhi Technological University (formerly Delhi College of Engineering), and various colleges of the University of Delhi. She has presented her research at several reputed international conferences, including the 7th International Conference on Advanced Research in Business, Management and Economics in Vienna, Austria; the 4th International Conference on Advanced Research in Management, Economics and Accounting in Brussels, Belgium; and the 6th International Conference on Economics and Social Sciences on “Geopolitical Perspectives and Technological Challenges for Sustainable Growth in the 21st Century,” organized by the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Romania. Prior to her doctoral studies, Yashika earned a Master’s in Economics from the South Asian University and a Bachelor’s in Economics [BA (Hons.) Economics] from S.G.T.B. Khalsa College, University of Delhi. She cleared the UGC-NET examination in 2015 and is a recipient of the IIT Delhi Institute Fellowship (JRF and SRF) and the IIT Delhi Research Scholars Travel Award.
