Dr. Justice D.Y. Chandrachud delivers Constitution Day Lecture at JGU

 
On November 26, Hon'ble Dr. Justice D.Y. Chandrachud, Former Chief Justice of India, delivered the Constitution Day Lecture at JGU on the theme 'Constitutional Rights in a Digital Universe'.

At the event, Professor (Dr.) C. Raj Kumar, Founding Vice Chancellor, JGU, gave the welcome remarks. Reflections on the Constitution were shared by Professor R. Sudarshan, Dean, Jindal School of Government and Public Policy, and Professor (Dr.) Dipika Jain, Executive Dean, Jindal Global Law School (JGLS). Professor (Dr.) S.G. Sreejith, Dean, Strategy Institution Building, Office of the Vice Chancellor, made a presentation on India's first Constitution Museum established at the JGU campus.

The programme featured the release of a video on India's first Constitution Museum, launch of the book The Great Book of Rules of India: Our Constitution for Toddlers and Young Curious Minds by Professor Sakshi Vijay, Associate Professor, JGLS, followed by the keynote Constitution Day Lecture and Q&A by Justice D.Y. Chandrachud, with concluding remarks by Professor Dabiru Sridhar Patnaik, Registrar, JGU, and presentation by Professor Surabhi Bhandari, Assistant Professor, JGLS.
