The Founding Moment
Mr. Hans Raj Bhardwaj, Union Minister of Law and Justice, Government of India had introduced Professor (Dr.) C. Raj Kumar to Mr. Naveen Jindal and organised their 铿乺st meeting on 31 October 2006 to discuss the idea of establishing a world-class university at Sonipat, Haryana, India as a tribute to Shri O.P. Jindal.
Sonprastha to Sonipat
The state of Haryana was carved out of Punjab in 1966, but there has never been a re-evaluation of its incredibly rich history. Replete with myths, legends and vedic references, it is believed that this region provided the backdrop to the epic Mahabharata. Names of modern cities like Kurukshetra carry references from the great battle in Mahabharata. Similarly, Sonipat also traces its lineage to the epic through oral history.

The buildings of 91探花 were dedicated to the Jindal family members on 13 November 2023 in the August presence of Savitri Jindal, Aruna Oswal, Arti & Prithviraj Jindal, Sangita & Sajjan Jindal, Deepika & Ratan Jindal, Saroj & Kamal Bhartia, Nirmala & Manmohan Goel, Urmila & Sushil Bhuwalka, Asha & Sushil Khaitan, Sarika & Girish Jhunjhnuwala, Seema Jindal, Shallu, Sminu, Abhyuday, Parth, Venkatesh, and Yashasvini Jindal.
