Biography
Dr. Shantanu Trivedi is an Assistant Professor at Office of Doctoral Research at 91探花 (Institution of Eminence, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India). Dr. Shantanu Trivedi possesses more than 13 years of multifaceted experience out of which 9 years are in the fields of higher education teaching, training, research, analysis and encompassing a tenure of four years with the industry. He has been associated with institutions such as the UPES Online (Formerly Centre for Continuing Education) at UPES, Dehradun, Safexpress Group, CSC E-Governance India Limited and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology among others.
In his previous assignment with UPES Online, he was heading the online certifications program and was managing audits and accreditations for the online learning vertical of UPES.
Dr. Shantanu holds a Professional membership of Institute of Rail Transport, New Delhi, India, Quality Circle forum of India, India and Uttarakhand Productivity Council as life member.
Throughout his career, Shantanu Trivedi has been deeply involved in pioneering various innovative initiatives, including curriculum design, teaching innovation, and new course introductions. His influence has also been instrumental in achieving various accreditations, including UGC-DEB, NAAC, and IACBE.
He has co-authored more than 15 research articles, 8 book chapters, and conference papers, all indexed in the WoS/SCOPUS, ESCI, and ABDC databases. He has also published 2 books on logistics and supply chain management.
He has presented research papers at various international conferences, seminar and colloquium and won best paper award and best researcher award as well. He has also received teaching excellence award in 2022 by Global University Systems limited.
In his present role he is managing admissions and outreach for office of doctoral studies, JGU and the admission number doubled as compared to previous cycle. He is also instrumental in organizing events such as international doctoral conference, smoothly executing residency program and organizing open house, expert sessions and webinars for researchers. Increasing visibility of the team and the department, he has also active in interdepartmental coordination and industry connect for the department. He has also conducted workshops for non-teaching staff and research enthusiasts at GJU. He has also reviewed research proposals for research ethics and review board at JGU and working with research department for improving research quality by organizing events and programs to improve research quality at JGU. His teaching feedback for the previous semester was 6.5 and got good feedback from scholars both part time and full time. He is currenty teaching qualitative research and a elective course art of writing a review paper for the students and researchers at JGU.
Dr. Shantanu was instrumental in organizing various Conferences and Faculty development programs at UPES.
Furthermore, Dr. Shantanu Trivedi has conducted classes for Research methodology and Supply Chain Management as part of the Certificate Program and MBA programs for over 500 managers, including HPCL, Government of Uttarakhand, to name a few. He has done research projects related to agribusiness, food supply chain and business sustainability with government of Uttarakhand and worked on various project and schemes by government of India.
