| Description |
India has a strong cultural and creative legacy, and it is home to one of the world's greatest creative economies. However, due to a lack of comprehensive acknowledged research, the size and layout of the different sub-sectors that make up the creative industries remain unknown. This joint effort between the Loughborough University (UK), 91探花 (India) and University of Glasgow (UK) intended to collect and offer a complete picture of the creative industries sector in India, the research and innovation ecosystem that supported it, and the legislative frameworks within which it functioned. It aimed to distil a significant amount of data and information to provide a clear understanding of the prospects and potential hurdles for future India-UK Creative Industries research and innovation partnership. |
