SDG Progress Reports

JGU reports on its progress against the SDGs every year.

Sustainable Development Report 2025
Launched at the Mumbai Sustainability Conclave on 1 May 2025. It reports $629,961 in SDG research funding, 152,140 trees and plants on campus, a 45% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions, a target of net zero by 2035 and over 525 international collaborations.

Sustainable Development Report 2026
Published since 2024 to present date, it reports on each of the 17 SDGs in turn: policies, data, research output and events. 

Other Reports
JGU also publishes its Greenhouse Gas Emissions Report (2025) and carries out three external audits each year (energy, environment and green).
