JGU works with non-governmental organisations on climate and environmental adaptation, and its Climate Action Plan 2025 names NGO collaboration as its first action.
WWF India
The Centre for Environmental Law at Jindal Global Law School and WWF India jointly run the LL.M. in Environmental Law, Energy and Climate Change, preparing lawyers for climate adaptation and environmental governance.
HME Waste Management
JGU has an MOU with HME Waste Management Company for the safe processing of e-waste, which keeps toxic materials out of soil and water.
Student-led Groups
The student group GAIA and the Office of Sustainability organised a two-day e-waste drive, and two permanent e-waste collection points now serve the community.
Global Networks
JGU belongs to the Nature Positive Universities network, the Higher Education Sustainability Initiative and the Climate Action Network for International Educators, and signed the CANIE Accord and Glasgow Paper.
Planned Partnerships
JGU plans to expand community-led collection drives through partnerships with NGOs, residents and schools.
