Yes. Abstracts should relate to the main theme or one of the conference subthemes. Contributions outside the listed subthemes (but relevant to the broader theme of the conference) may also be considered; select “Other in the submission form where appropriate.
All abstracts must be submitted through the designated online registration submission form on the official conference website. Please note: there is no separate form for abstract submission. Instead, there is a designated section for the abstract to be submitted within the registration form itself. Abstracts sent by email will not be accepted. Please ensure that you select the appropriate submission category (paper/panel etc.) before completing the form.

We strongly encourage each individual to submit not more than one abstract. This will enable a greater number of researchers and practitioners to share their ideas and benefit from the constructive feedback of their work. Additionally, one presentation per person will also ensure there is no scheduling conflict, especially at a conference as large scale as the STAR Global Conference, where we are expecting close to 1000 delegates from across the world.
Acceptance emails will be issued on a rolling basis. You can expect to receive a decision on your abstract within 2–5 days of submission. Please monitor the email address used for registration, including the spam or junk folder, for updates from the Organising Committee.
No. Full-paper submission is optional and is not required to present an accepted abstract. Participants interested in publication may submit a full paper in accordance with the publication guidelines.
Submitting a full paper for publication is optional and is not required to present an accepted abstract. Presenters may have the opportunity to publish their work through Springer Press, STAR Scholars Press or associated publication outlets. Submission or presentation does not guarantee publication. Any publication will be subject to the relevant editorial, peer-review and selection requirements.
The last date for full paper submissions is the 31st of December 2026. Further details about the full paper submission guidelines will be updated on the website closer to the date of the conference.
