Health collaborations

The JGU Health Centre works with trusted partners so that students, faculty, staff and workers can reach specialist care, medicines and diagnostics without leaving the community they rely on. These partnerships are central to the University’s vision of wellbeing that is sustainable, comprehensive and equitable.

Hospital partnerships and referrals

The Health Centre has direct referral arrangements with Tulip Multi-Specialty Hospital, Crossroad Hospital and Bhatla Heart & General Hospital, so patients who need specialist treatment are referred quickly and with continuity. JGU also has ties with Max Hospital and Fortis Hospital for specialised care and institutional medical requirements.

Pharmacy and diagnostics

Apollo Pharmacy operates 24×7 next to the Health Centre. It gives the JGU community and their families round-the-clock access to medicines and medical supplies, with home delivery on request. Dr Lal PathLabs collects samples at the Health Centre every day and offers diagnostic investigations at discounted rates.

Mental health partnership

Sukoon, a mental health provider, operates on campus next to the Centre for Wellness and Counselling Services. It offers free, confidential support, including one-on-one counselling, family therapy, mental health screenings, workshops and campus events.

Public health partnerships

The Health Centre works with student organisations and government programmes. With the Rotaract Club, it supports student-led blood donation drives. It also takes part in the Government of India’s Polio Vaccination Programme, where its healthcare personnel help administer polio drops, particularly in labour settlements and hutment areas.

Looking ahead

JGU plans to expand clinical research, extend medical and mental health outreach to rural Sonipat, and hold seminars with national and international health leaders.
