Constitution Museum: Bringing the Republic to the Public
The Constitution Museum and the Rights and Freedoms Academy is India's first museum of its kind and sits on the JGU campus. It is a living, learning space where students, faculty, staff and visitors can explore India's constitutional journey, learn about landmark moments in democratic history and reflect on present-day rights and freedoms.

What Visitors See
Visitors walk through galleries covering the Constitution's genesis, drafting, adoption and continuing relevance. They see rare documents, historical artifacts, multimedia installations and interpretive exhibits on justice, liberty, equality and fraternity, and learn about the historical, philosophical and legal contexts behind India's constitutional order and how its principles shape public life today.
The museum has sections on each part of the Constitution, profiles every Constituent Assembly member, and presents the debates that shaped the text. Art from the original handcrafted document and artworks inspired by the Constitution are on display.
